Rob Riches

Originally trained as an electrical engineer, Rob retired from after a 30-year career teaching problem-solving subjects Mathematics, Computing and Electronics, at both polytechnic and high school levels. Whilst teaching he took a deep interest in learning styles: how people learn, what they most need to learn as a next step, and became conversant with many different teaching and learning methodologies. The large variation in students' abilities and motivation allowed him to develop several coaching strategies that he uses effectively in his current work.

He first became interested in personal development when he took up Transcendental Meditation nearly 40 years ago, trained for and became a teacher in 1972. He has also completed the Excellence Series and became a facilitator of the Advancement of Excellence (AOE). The Series consisted of many programmes; The Pursuit of Excellence (POE), The Wall, The AOE, Master, Leadership Skills and Facilitator Training.

Upon relocating to Ontario, he undertook training with Research Associates Corporation in Reading, Pennsylvania to become a certified facilitator in highly effective developmental processes in business and personal development, and a certified Facilitator for the Attribute Index, a personal assessment tool which highlights a person's talents.

Several years ago, Rob developed a specialism in emotional intelligence, and has developed an alternate paradigm of Self called Soul Dynaamics, complete with courses in emotional development and emotional self awareness aimed at achieving inner peace, integration, balance and emotional resilience.
